A graduate of Wesleyan University, Lauren explored various avenues before earning a fellowship through the America-India Foundation to study classical Indian performance. Her successes abroad led her to study acting at several of the most prestigious schools in her hometown of New York City, including Michael Howard Studios and The Actor’s Center, as well as through T. Schreiber Studios’s conservatory. Her continued studies include body dynamics training and vocal production with Lynn Singer.

Quietly confident yet high-energy, instinctual yet deliberate, sweet yet sarcastic―these attributes have earned Lauren roles that span “All My Children” and independent cinema. Lauren has starred in several shorts and feature films, including the 2009 feature “Flick’s Chicks.” She recently completed work on “When Harry Tries to Marry, “ and is in pre-production for “Bittersweet Monday,” also both feature films. After the release of When Harry Tries to Marry, Lauren was called a "rising star."
