It’s happening! Ancestry Dot Comedy: The Misfit Variety Show is taking off!

Last October, when we watched the first show sell out, with standing room only and people getting turned away at the door, as well as being named a Time Out New York weekend pick, we knew that we had hit a nerve.

So we’re bringing it back to NYC with an all new show! Then we will be at ArtsQuest in Pennsylvania in June and Washington D.C. in September, and probably back in NYC twice more by the end of the year. There are probably at least 3-5 more cities - booking in progress!

You’ll never have the same experience twice as there are always new bits and new guests. What will stay the same is having a damned good time.

Ancestry Dot Comedy is becoming much more than a variety show: our pre- and post-show gatherings offer lots of opportunities to find and cultivate community. There are so many people out there struggling with identity and belonging, sussing out what DNA surprises, or just plain ol’ family trauma, so we want to be that space for people to feel welcomed and to laugh.
